One of the film's most notable features is the music composed by S. Thaman; the songs "Telusa Telusa" and "Blockbuster" have become fan favorites. Rishi Punjabi's cinematography is a strong point technically. The dance moments are beautifully presented with aerial perspectives and vibrant colors. While the film's other technical aspects were impressive, the CGI used in critical scenes fell short.

The picture, however, needs more complexity and character growth. The story depends on the action too much and requires to provide more character development. Therefore, the characters, except Gana and Vairam, are flat and one-dimensional.
Despite being directed by Boyapati Srinu, better renowned for his high-octane action dramas, "Sarrainodu" is nonetheless a reasonably enjoyable film. However, the picture may have been more memorable if the directors had paid more attention to the plot and character arcs.
