What is telephone? Do not go for technical definition. A device for communication. Today we are in the advanced level of communication. We can connect to any person in the world from any location. It has become necessity in the present era.
Imagine if you suddenly go in 1920. How would you feel?

What about the life before the invention of telephone? What was the medium of communication? Telegraph was used to send messages in the form of dots and dashes. Birds were used to send handwritten messages.
Could you imagine your life if the invention of the telephone never happened?
Their are various other innovations linked with the invention of telephone. Some of them are listed below.
  1. The invention of the telephone gave rise to the discovery of mobile phone. Today we cannot imagine our day without the use of our pocket-size instrument. i.e., mobile. The telephone gave birth to our most precious gem(mobile).
  2. Online shopping is a boon to our society. We can order the things we like by just clicking the buy now button.
  3. Internet is one of the greatest inventions of all time. A day without it is unimaginable.
  4. What about relationship? Lovers need to interact with each other to build a bond. The chances that social media existed were slim without the invention of telephone.
  5. A thief enters your house. You hurridly dial 100 to call the police. No telephone, no police.
  6. There are approximately 38 Hindi news channels in India. This is possible only through this particular invention.
  7. Thanks to the invention of the telephone. The whole world would be different if the discovery of the telephone never happened.
Who was the inventor of the telephone? The most regarded person for the invention of the telephone is Alexander Graham Bell. Yet according to some historians, Elisha Gray and Antonio Meucci were the main players in the discovery of telephone. Who invented the telephone is still a matter of debate.
