The way of truth is the most challenging path to follow. It requires courage to live truthfully. But at last, truth always wins. "Theri" is a movie that comes with this message. A good entertainer with many teachings makes this movie one of my favourites.

We are introduced to Joseph Kurivila and his daughter Nivi. A sweet relationship between father and daughter is one of the best things to watch. Annie, a schoolteacher, starts liking Joseph. Due to some series of events, we get to know that Joseph's real name is Vijay Kumar, an IPS officer.

A fearless police officer who tries to clean the city from gangsters is shown in a couple of flashbacks. Vijay, a courageous cop, a caring husband, and a loving father, is beautiful to watch.

The movie was really mind-blowing, with superb dialogues, punch lines and action. Background music was powerful and thrilling. The story was not so unique(an old revenge-type), but the execution made it look perfect. The ending was a little disappointing as the 2nd half was predictable.

I like to watch movies that contain some lessons to learn. If you are looking for a mass entertainer, you should give it a try.
