The beauty of Simplicity

Today most people suffer from a disease called depression. According to an article in the Times of India, 43% of Indians suffered from depression in the lockdown period. With the increase in technology, an increase in flexibility can be witnessed. It is easier to do various things that were nearly impossible in the past. We live a more comfortable life than our ancestors. But why the cases of depression are increasing day by day.

The answer is a lack of simplicity. People are accomplishing things that mean nothing to them. Simplicity is focussing on the things that really matter the most. But how many of us are implementing it in our lives. The decisions of people depend heavily on the opinions of others.



How is that possible?

It all begins in our society. We want a big car, a big house, luxurious lifestyle to show glory to our neighbours. In schools and colleges, a student with high grades is treated differently. It was not a problem in the past. People were happy with their own karma and never cared about others' opinions. They were happy, satisfied and inclined toward nature.



How to add simplicity to life?

  1. You are the creator of your destiny

    Listen to the people's opinions. In fact, listening is one of the qualities of a leader. But in the end, make your own decision.
  2. Don't try to be a copycat

    You can never be satisfied with the accomplishment of worldly things. Do not bother about what your neighbour buys. Think twice before taking any action.
  3. Minimize the usage of social media

    Trends change every second on social media. It can create a lot of confusion in your mind. Use social media only when necessary.
  4. Take proper diet

    The food you consume should be healthy. Too much spicy food can make your feel angry.
  5. Yoga and exercise

    Doing yoga and exercise every day can boost your physical and mental health. Remember that a healthy mind attracts positivity.

How to know that your life is full of simplicity? When you are full of joy and need no reason to be happy. Simplicity is living every moment of your life full of energy and excitement.

    Simplicity makes you so strong that you can tackle any life situation. You never feel any mental pressure, and you create a positive environment.
  2. You get more time for your hobbies

    By practising simplicity, you can easily find free time for your hobbies.

    Negative emotions like anger, guilt, fear, and lust vanish.
  4. Mind power increases

    You start to focus more on the inside rather than the outside. Your mind releases unnecessary things. It creates a space to learn new things.
  5. More freedom

    Simple things bring more freedom to your life.
