Some books create an enormous amount of impact on our thinking process. "The Secret" is one of them. Everyone keeps the potential to make an impact in the world. Each one of us is born unique with a different skill set. But due to mediocre thinking, our life becomes complicated. The book illustrates the way successful people think.
You are a magnet. You attract all positive and negative things. Nature always gives you as per your demand. You would definitely attract negative things if you always think about them. The truth is that most people are negative thinkers. Replacing negative emotions with positive ones can entirely change your life.
The book revolves around one principle, "The law of Attraction". The circumstances around you are the result of your thinking. If you wake up early in the morning with negative thoughts, you would probably attract them. The law of attraction still works but with the opposite result.
The Law of attraction works well if you radiate joy. How can you make your surroundings peaceful if you are demoralised from the inside? The book makes you believe that dreams could become a reality. Nature is always present to help you in every situation of your life. There is a lot of abundance in every resource that nature provides. So a firm belief in nature could make your dream a reality.
Numerous quotes and opinions from a wide range of people make the book more interesting. The presence of short stories of different people using the law of attraction is another feature of the book.
The book contains 10 chapters in total. In the starting chapters, the secret is revealed, which is the "Law of Attraction". In the next couple of chapters, the author explains how to use the secret in your daily life. The next three chapters are secret to money, secret to health and secret to relationships. The book ends with a chapter, "The secret to life".
The concept of the law of attraction is also present in The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. When you focus on positive things, you attract them in your life. If you always focus on the negative things, you can never grow as a person.
The word 'YOU' in the book could make the readers believe that the book is written for them. However, there are some cons and controversies regarding this book. The law of attraction is not scientifically proven. There is still research going on quantum physics. People who believe only in science might find this book hard to grasp. But many people discovered it as a way to get rid of stress. If you want to bring a positive attitude into your life, give it a try.
