You don't need a high IQ to lead one of the major companies of the world. If you keep on trying in the harsh circumstances, you can conquer this world. Jack Ma realised the power of the internet when it was in its growing phase. The simple way of communicating with people practised by Jack Ma to promote Alibaba fascinated many people around the world. The book also covers case studies of not just Alibaba but also its competitors.

"Opportunity lies in the place where the complaints are."

In the first chapter, the author tells us the achievements of this company. In the rest of the book, he describes the life journey of Jack Ma and how he established the empire. He was not good at his studies, but he was aware of his weaknesses and strengths.

"You have got to keep trying, and if it doesn’t work, you always can revert back to what you were doing before."

Readers will also get to know about the Chinese stock market and how the startups are helping in building the economy of China. The author also describes the harsh precepts of the Chinese government upon retailers. Even to run a small business in China is troublesome.

In the struggling period, we tend to lose faith. We should learn from Jack Ma how to fight when the time is worst. Jack is also an expert at formulating positive relationships with every employee. He also took hard decisions for Alibaba by eliminating some of his employees from the company. He often states that Alibaba's priority is its users.

"Try to find the right people, not the best people."

The start of the book is impressive. The end could have been much better. People who enjoy reading non-fiction books will appreciate this book. Overall this book will motivate you and will outline the obstacles while growing a business. It is a must-read book.
