After reading Aghora I, I was curious about reading the 2nd part of the book. Once again, I was ready to dive deep into the spiritual journey of an Aghori.

Aghora II is a book about Kundalini shakti, as mentioned on the cover page. But believe me, it contains a lot of other spiritual knowledge besides Kundalini.

The book starts with a chapter, "Agni". There is a detailed description of the five elements of matter(Panchamahabhutas), Earth(Prithvi), Water(Jala), Fire(Tejas), Wind(Vayu) and Space(Akasha). Why do people worship fire, and why is fire worship much better than doing pranayama in Kaliyuga? All such things are beautifully explained with a scientific explanation.

The next chapter is all about Kundalini, Nadis, and Chakras. Kundalini is quite complicated to explain. It is a shakti that can only be experienced. The author shared the experience of his Guru in a very captivating way. What practices do yogis execute to awaken Kundalini? Why is it dangerous to awaken it without any guru? What is the safe path to awakening the Chakras? The book contains answers to all such questions.

Mantras affect the environment around us. It is a way to manifest the deity by matching the wavelength of the diety. Why is it advised not to recite any mantra without any knowledge? The book contains some pages about the deeper meaning of mantras.

What is Music? It is just a sound that creates emotions. Music was a part of many great Saints. The book explains the importance of music in Sadhna.

There are some pages about Immortal beings like Rishis, Munis, Naths and Sidhas. The esoteric(hidden) meaning of various avatars of Lord Vishnu is one of the fundamental parts of this book. A detailed chapter about the esoteric meaning of Ramayana is unbelievable. The book ends with an explanation of the sweet relationship between a guru and a disciple.

Apart from this, there were various other mesmerising stories of Swami Vivekananda, Sai Baba, Babaji, and so on.

The book might be a little challenging for newbies to read. Even the first part required some knowledge about spirituality. Some things are easy to grasp, like the esoteric meaning of the avatars of Lord Vishnu.
